Waterlines

Volunteer Park, Seattle (2009)


Located in an office trailer, the installation displayed stories with a global perspective on drinking-water use while the performance grew out of conversations with Seattle Public Utility staff.

clouds

During the 1990s the desert nations of Libya, Morocco, Syria and Israel used cannons to fire silver iodide crystals into the clouds to induce rain. When nearby Egypt began experiencing unusual dryness, some Egyptians accused their neighbors of stealing the clouds.
