Excerpts from interviews with the public:
My father died when he was 29. I've lived completely in the present since I was nine or ten years old, when I went down to the court house and looked up my father's obituary.

When I read the newspaper I become two people. One gets emotionally involved in the tragedy of the story, the other thinks the sun is out, it's a great day, I'll have lunch soon.
